also also guys, Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. feeling shy but inshaAllah, i’m beginning a new journey of sharing some of my creative passions over on instagram.
once i have a few projects ready, i’ll start sharing them with you all. this poem will be one of them, and i’ve had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Raquel Aly , who directed and created the most beautiful visuals for you to see soon.
sooo hehe, if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that most of my creative work has always been quite private. even sharing my writing publicly only began last year, so this feels like a big step for me.
even the small things - sharing an audio or showing those close to me what i create — have been hurdles i’m learning to overcome.
a huge thank you to my mum Lee for helping me come up with the name and for always supporting me. hehe, she was also my first subscriber and biggest supporter here on substack too! <3
